The Mission:

Graham Technologies is hiring a System Engineer at  Ft. Belvoir, VA.  We are looking for a candidate to provide requirements support for PM DOD Biometrics. The purpose of this project is to obtain Project Level Engineering, Architecture, and Cybersecurity Services for the Department of Defense (DOD). Provide solutions to design, engineer, acquire, deploy, and sustain Enterprise biometric solutions in multiple operating environments to enable identity dominance on the battlefield and across DOD.
The Challenge:
  • Development of draft documentation required by the current version of DoD 5000series (and annexes) in preparation for product-specific milestone decision reviews
  • Ability to review the current Information Assurance Strategy for relevance and alignment with the overall Systems Engineering activities
  • Review systems engineering Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) deliverables from other contracts (e.g., SI contractor)
  • Review the overall effectiveness of SI engineering processes and delivered products with respect to achievement of project/product goals, requirements, and schedule
  • Perform technical review of CDRL items and materials provided by the SI in support of technical reviews and audits
  • Preparation of key Systems Engineering documentation required for an Acquisition Category (ACAT) program, in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG).  This documentation may include, but not limited to:
    • Business Case, Systems Engineering Plan (SEP)
    • Information Support Plan (ISP)
  • Perform other Systems Engineering activities, as required

What We're Looking For:
To land this position, you must have an Active Secret Clearance and some working knowledge of the following skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field such as engineering, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, engineering technology, or computer science
  • Five years of direct experience with deploying and sustaining information systems.
  • Experience with biometrics systems is desirable, although not required.  
  • Master’s Degree is desirable
