Software Developer (Service Now)

Graham Technologies (GTech) is looking for a Software Developer (Service Now) for our customer in Herndon, VA to join our fast-growing team of over 70 members!

Your role:

The customer is looking for a Software Developer with working knowledge with Service Now to be a . In this position you will be coordinate ServiceNow deployments and releases with the customers user base and internal organizations.  You will deploy new features and ServiceNow applications in a controlled environment.  Another role you will take is to  upgrade ServiceNow applications (COTS and GOTS) to the latest release as available.

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, prototyping, and deploying solutions across a worldwide enterprise
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise management of Linux hosts (RHEL, CENTOS)
  • Demonstrated expertise using deterministic configuration management tools (Puppet)
  • Demonstrated expertise with container technologies (e.g. VMware and/or Docker) in enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and integrate new tools and technologies within an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in automating manual processes
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging the Atlassian Suite of tools for ticketing, documentation, and version control
 We're also excited about candidates who might have experience with the following:
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM platform suites
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s custom applications and processes
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrate experience with Sponsor’s system security accreditation process
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Sponsor staff, IT customers, and other technical and non-technical staff and contractors
  • Demonstrated experience in software release methodology and lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying ServiceNow infrastructure (Madrid version or later versions) in a cloud computing environment (i.e., AWS Load Balancing, Self-Managed encryption keys, Auto-Scaling, and Load Configuration services.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow infrastructure with auditing systems
  • Possess or willing to obtain Sponsor’s System Administration Certification (System Administration Security Course)
  • Possess ServiceNow Systems Administrator Certification
